Combatting Organized Retail Crime
Retailers across the country have experienced increased theft and violence at their stores in the wake of our nation's crime crisis.
To fight this dangerous trend, I cosponsored the Combatting Organized Retail Crime Act, which ensures that law enforcement has the legal tools necessary to combat organized retail crime in the same capacity as law enforcement is able to combat theft and diversion from other portions of the supply chain.
It also directs the Biden Administration to create a central coordination center to address this issue from the federal to the local level.

Combatting the EPA’s Green Dream
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently proposed standards for light- and medium-duty vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. This is the latest Green New Deal progressive push to make all vehicles electric.
I joined colleagues in sending a letter to the EPA raising concerns with their proposed tailpipe emissions standards under the Clean Air Act and how they would affect hard-working Americans.
