On Tuesday, May 23, you are invited to join us for a “Lunch and Learn” event to discuss the Health Affairs' Health Equity journey and share with the audience lessons learned during this process, some of which is covered in a recently published article "A Seat For All: Advancing racial equity in scholarly publishing of health policy and health services research."

The session will be hosted by University of California Davis Professor Michelle Ko, a member of the Health Affairs Health Equity Advisory Committee, and feature Tulane University Assistant Professor Andrew Anderson, a recent graduate of the Health Affairs Health Equity Fellows Training (HEFT) program.

Anderson published an article in the latest issue of Health Affairs, "The Costs of Disparities In Preventable Heart Failure Hospitalizations In The US South, 2015-17."

Anderson recently wrote about the high costs of ignoring health equities in Health Affairs Forefront and appeared on a recent episode of our A Health Podyssey podcast.

This event will be open to all.
