Dear Health Advocates,
Last week was a busy week in the healthcare advocacy world, and there is a lot more to come! We’re continuing to activate around debt ceiling negotiations and the threats to Medicaid. We’re amplifying recent hearings from The Ways and Means Committee and the House Energy and Commerce Committee who both held hearings on policies to address dishonest pricing practices and transparency, and we’re preparing to amplify the House Oversight hearing this week on drug pricing.
Importantly, the Fifth Circuit Appeals Court heard arguments on May 17 regarding the Mifepristone case that proved its more important than ever for us to speak up for access to lifesaving medications.
