This past Thursday marked the deadline for candidates to qualify for Knoxville’s City election in August. That means the field is set. I have 4 opponents on the ballot and it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work having conversations with voters about my plans for a second term. Early voting begins on August 9th, just 80 days away!

My dream for Knoxville’s future is a city that is affordable, safe, and equitable; a city that is inclusive, compassionate and dynamic. In a second term, I will continue building on the progress we’ve made to ensure Knoxville is a city where every neighborhood is a community of opportunity.
