[link removed] [[link removed]]Team,
On May 21, 1919, the United States House passed the 19th Amendment. This piece of legislation would move through the Senate and be ratified just a few months later, granting women the right to vote.

This day is as important as ever, especially since we’re still facing challenges to voting rights in our state and across the country.
Over the last few weeks, the Republican-led North Carolina Supreme Court majority made multiple rulings that disenfranchise voters. These rulings include making partisan gerrymandering legal once again, reinstating voter ID laws, and revoking voting rights for some felons. It’s unethical. Plain and simple.
Wiley has pushed to protect voting rights for North Carolinians and voters across the country, but right now, he needs to know you’re with him in this fight. Can you rush in a donation of $19.19 to Wiley’s campaign to commemorate this important day in history and recommit to electing representatives who will fight to protect voting rights? These new voting laws and unfairly drawn maps will give the GOP an advantage in upcoming elections. They know that when less people have their voices heard, their unpopular viewpoints have a better chance of winning.
Wiley knows that that’s not how democracy is supposed to work. Our society functions when every single eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in our elections. When more people vote, our representatives reflect the ideals of the people they represent.
On the anniversary of this monumental day in our nation's history, let’s work together and protect voting rights for the future of our elections. Chip into Wiley’s campaign today! [[link removed]]
Thanks,
Team Wiley
