Just this year, thousands of healthy American horses who could’ve been rehomed have been loaded onto trucks, transported over our borders and butchered. The United States has already banned the shipping, sale and transport of dogs and cats for the meat trade, and it’s time to give our country’s beloved horses the same protections.
