Fighting For Textile Jobs & Combatting Chinese Influence

From the time I was first elected, my top priority has been fighting to protect Tenth District jobs. This week I was proud to continue that work as I led a bipartisan letter to Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo urging adherence to U.S. trade law.

Eliminating Hurdles for Entrepreneurs & Small Business 

Entrepreneurs and small businesses create jobs and drive our economy. That’s why I introduced legislation to reform the IRS system used to verify borrower income. Talking Debt Ceiling with Maria Bartiromo

This week, I joined Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business to discuss President Biden’s absurd refusal to take debt ceiling negotiations seriously. This administration lit the fuse on the rampant inflation under which Americans are suffering. Special counsel John Durham has concluded that the FBI relied on unverified information and did not meet critical standards in launching an investigation into claims of collusion between President Trump and Russia. Americans must have confidence in law enforcement. Sadly, this report does not provide it and instead raises serious concerns regarding the impartiality of the FBI as it relates to certain politically sensitive investigations.

Please join me in praying for the Cherryville community as they recover from damage sustained during severe weather this week. I am thankful that no one was critically injured and grateful to the first responders who provided vital assistance during this emergency.
