Team, just last week, alongside a citizen-led coalition of local, state, and national partners, we announced the launch of a campaign — Vote No in August: One Person One Vote — to fight back against Ohio extremists’ latest attack.

We have less than 4 months to ensure this attack fails at the ballot box — so we need to gear up FAST. Will you rush a donation to power our 2023 Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign work to defend voting rights against blatant attacks like this one, team?

An extremist-packed Ohio state legislature has called for a special election and referred a measure to the ballot that if passed, would require ALL future ballot measures in the state to pass with at least a 60% supermajority.

These same extremists are terrified a ballot measure — like the ones we helped win in Michigan and Vermont last November that permanently protected abortion access in each state — could make its way in front of Ohio voters as soon as this November. So, they are wasting $20 million in taxpayer dollars to try and put this anti-democratic restriction in place before an abortion measure could make its way to the ballot.

We must stop this attack in its tracks, and our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign is at the ready to make that happen. Will you rush a donation right away to help us gear up and protect direct democracy, team?
