This terrifies me, friend: 

Last month, a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas tried to overturn the FDA's approval of abortion medication. Now, after the Supreme Court put a hold on this ruling, it's with the Fifth Circuit Court.

Let this sink in: This court has the potential to end access to the most common form of abortion in America for millions of people.

We need laws that will protect health care, not strip it away. I'm working with American Bridge to hold Republicans accountable for their shameless attempts to attack our fundamental freedoms, but to do that, we need to defeat them at the ballot box. Last year, nearly 50 years of precedent was overturned when the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, ending the constitutional right to abortion in America. In the wake of this ruling, Republicans inched closer and closer to passing a national abortion ban: In fact, 14 states have full abortion bans right now, and more restrictions are tied up in the courts. Just last week, the North Carolina GOP overrode the governor’s veto of a 12-week abortion ban.

We haven't given up our fight, though, friend, and I still have hope: States like Kansas have voted to protect abortion rights, and a six-week abortion ban proposal was recently halted in Nebraska. 

The majority of Americans are behind us, friend, and while right-wing extremists are taking every opportunity to push their anti-abortion agenda, we aren't going down without a fight.
