Since Tammy launched her reelection campaign a month ago, several potential GOP challengers have been waiting in the wings to challenge Tammy’s seat. So, here’s a quick rundown of who we could end up with as Wisconsin’s next Senator if we don’t reelect Tammy:

Tom Tiffany, who is one of the most right-wing members of Congress, supports a nationwide abortion ban and propped up Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” about the 2020 election being stolen. 

We also have former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who did everything in his power to repeal the Affordable Care Act. He supported cuts to Social Security and Medicare too.  

Another MAGA loyalist eyeing Tammy’s Senate seat is Sheriff David Clarke Jr., whose ideologies are so extreme, he was banned from Fox News. This guy is also a firm defender of the January 6 insurrection, going so far as to encourage participants to not cooperate with federal authorities. 

Rebecca Kleefisch is one more candidate who said the 2020 election was “rigged.” She not only supports jail time for abortion providers, but also has said that “same-sex marriage is a slippery slope that could lead to people “marry[ing] dogs.”

Finally, MAGA millionaire Eric Hovde, who spends an awful lot of time in his million-dollar waterfront house in California, could run for office in Wisconsin and fund his campaign from personal wealth. He’s cut checks for Donald Trump and won’t have any issue cutting checks for himself too.  

Any one of these potential candidates is a terrifying prospect. But the unfortunate reality is that regardless of who the GOP chooses as their candidate, they will have millions of dollars from dark money donors ready to spend whatever it takes to take Tammy’s Senate Seat. 

That’s why we need to prepare for anything they throw our way. We can’t let any of these extremists represent Wisconsinites and their values in the Senate. That’s why today we’re reaching out to ask:
