With the primary behind us, all eyes are now on Kentucky. Here are the top three things you need to know about this race for Kentucky governor:
- Andy is facing Mitch McConnell's protégé, Daniel Cameron, in the general election. Cameron will do whatever it takes to undo the progress we've made for Kentucky.
- This will be the most competitive race in the nation. Andy won by just over 5,000 votes in 2019 and this year is shaping up to be just as close.
- This race will be expensive. Over $12 million dollars was spent during the primary. Now that Andy has an opponent, millions more will flood Kentucky to attack him.
All of the progress that Andy has made – infrastructure investments, expanded access to health care, education improvements – is on the line this November. We can't afford to let Andy's opponent and his outside spending allies drag us backward. But we need your help to win this difficult race.
