The Future of our Union
All eyes were on Washington this week - searching for signs from our leaders that our country is heading in the right direction. When it mattered most they continued to argue, ignore, and compete against one another instead of uniting for all Americans. Despite the disappointing behavior, there were Members of Congress - Democrats and Republicans -  wearing purple ties and scarves on the House floor, signaling that they are ready to rise above partisanship and work together. The morning after the President's address, that's exactly what they did.
