Hey John,

On Monday, the people of Iowa caucused for a presidential candidate. Now,
the country’s eyes are turned towards New Hampshire for tonight’s
presidential debate and next week’s primary.

We’ve demanded that climate be a top priority for the presidential debates
ever since they started. So far, the DNC has refused to host a climate
debate and the moderators have failed to give climate policy the attention
it deserves. In the meantime, voters have been left uninformed about the
candidates’ policy plans — some of which don’t include vital solutions
like keeping fossil fuels in the ground or transitioning to 100% renewable
energy by 2030.

[ [link removed] ]Help us make sure our voices are heard before this next debate by
sharing YOUR climate perspective with the hashtag #OurFutureOurDebate on
social media.

Why is it important to you that the candidates get a chance to talk about
the climate crisis? What questions do you want the moderators to ask?
#OurFutureOurDebate is the place for you to share all these thoughts and
more.

If the DNC and media outlets won’t make space for the climate conversation
at the debates, we’re going to do it ourselves. By raising our voices
together with the #OurFutureOurDebate hashtag, we can spark wider interest
in climate policy from voters and signal to candidates that we’re paying
attention to their climate stances.

media. Go to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram and post your truth!
