John, big news! I’ve introduced a bipartisan package of bills aimed at strengthening New Mexico’s economy.

👷 Economic Opportunity for Border Communities Act
Instructs the Department of Commerce to create a national strategy focused on increasing job opportunities in border communities in the trades, agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation industries.

🌽 Farm Workforce Support Act
Has the government report on the H-2A visa program so we can find solutions that work for New Mexico farmers and ensure farmworkers have adequate housing and fair wages.

✈️ Expanding Regional Airports Act
Creates a grant program to help smaller regional airports like Las Cruces promote tourism and attract commercial airlines.

The voters of New Mexico’s 2nd District elected me to get things done and that’s exactly what I plan to do. Unfortunately, this makes me an even bigger target for McCarthy and the GOP. The more I deliver for my district, the more money McCarthy is going to pour into attack ads against me.
