You may have seen viral video of Congressman Jamaal Bowman and Marjorie Taylor Greene arguing on the Capitol steps about the debt limit crisis.

Last night, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes had Bowman on the show to debunk Greene's claims after the fact that "he was aggressive" and that she "felt threatened." Hayes played the video of her smiling and engaging in good-natured ribbing.

"Racist trope" was how Bowman described her retroactive smear. "Historical, racist tropes towards Black men…That’s the stuff that got Trayvon Martin killed, that got Tamir Rice killed."
