National Police Week

This week is National Police Week, where we commemorate all of the officers we've lost in the line of duty, and we thank all those who've done the job and those still protecting our communities.

Community Events

We have some amazing things going on in our community this month! This week, the Mower County CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program had their annual tradeshow! This program is an incredible opportunity for the students and mentors alike, and is an amazing way to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in our community.

We have graduations coming up, and I've been busy signing letters for each of our high school graduates! As a teacher, I love to see our students taking that next step after high school, whether it be going to college, starting a job, or any of the other countless possibilities for their lives. Congratulations to all of our local graduates!

This weekend is the Taste of Nations at Bandshell Park in Austin! Unfortunately, the House will be in session all weekend so I can't make it this year, but I look forward to hearing all about it!

Finally, as spring sports wrap up, I want to recognize all of our local athletes for their hard work this season! You've all done an amazing job!
