How to help DACA recipients right now

Today, the Supreme Court took up the case on DACA and will decide by June of 2020 the future of the program. We don’t know how the Supreme Court will rule, team.

Oral arguments in the case will most likely take place at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.

What’s most important for folks to know right now is that the DACA renewals process is still open -- which means nothing has changed just yet. But the future of the program is uncertain, so we need your support right now to help as many DACA recipients as possible before a decision comes down.

Can you sponsor a DACA recipient in financial need? Every two years, DACA recipients must come up with $495 to renew their status. Right now, United We Dream has a waiting list of hundreds of recipients who need our help. Please, step up today.

DONATE NOW

I’m also asking you to share some key information with anyone who is a part of the program. Here are four things DACA recipients should know:

  1. A final decision on DACA from the Supreme Court could come at the latest by June 2020.

  2. If your DACA expires in 2020, our team recommends that you speak with a legal service provider about renewing your DACA now -- visit RenewMyDACA.com for more.

  3. New applications are still NOT being accepted at this moment and advance parole is NOT available.

  4. Help immigrant youth stay protected by donating to help pay for DACA renewal fees at DacaRenewalFund.com.

Before I let you go, I wanted to give you another chance to sponsor a DACA recipient today. Every dollar you donate will go directly to a young person in financial need.
