Adding additional barriers to care, such as so-called work requirements, would add unnecessary administrative burden for Medicaid enrollees, resulting in widespread coverage losses. If Medicaid recipients, including women with heart disease, failed to perfectly navigate these burdensome administrative requirements, they could suddenly lose their healthcare. Women receiving treatment for heart disease or those managing risk factors like hypertension or diabetes cannot afford a sudden gap in care.
Please urge your members of Congress to protect Medicaid coverage and reject any proposals to enact cuts or barriers to healthcare. Sincerely, |
