Since becoming Comptroller, Brooke has focused on improving our state’s systems to ensure they work for everyone – including our Comptroller’s branch offices! Our branch offices directly support community members, including personal tax support, business tax support, in-person consultations, and more.

In March, Brooke started visiting every Comptroller branch office in Maryland. So far, she’s been to 7 branch offices: Greenbelt, Cumberland, Annapolis, Wheaton, Salisbury, Baltimore City, and Towson.

In June, Brooke will visit the remaining branch offices in Hagerstown, Waldorf, Elkton, and Frederick.

At each visit, Brooke meets with staff members to discuss how we can improve how we serve our residents. She also meets with local community and business leaders so they can discuss matters with Brooke directly and know that the Comptroller’s office is there to help them.
