It’s crazy to look back now and think that a young Katie serving Whoppers is now serving the state of Arizona as Governor.  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌

John,

Last year, my team and I traveled across Arizona to meet with folks from every corner of our great state. As you can imagine, we ate plenty of meals on the road, but one of them in particular meant so much to me.

Katie smiling in front of a Burger King in Tempe, which happens to be where she got her first job.

While in my childhood city of Tempe, we stopped by this Burger King, which is where I got my first job when I was 16!

It’s crazy to look back now and think that a young Katie serving Whoppers is now serving the state of Arizona as Governor. But thanks to the support of this grassroots team, my job is now on the ninth floor.

And as Governor, I’m fighting for wage earners, union workers, and everyday Arizonans. No one in our state should have to work multiple jobs to make ends meet, but as a result of past failed leadership, many Arizonans are struggling to stay afloat.

I won’t stop until every Arizonan, regardless of their background or economic status, is able to live happily and support their family.

Can you pitch in today to help me continue delivering solutions for everyday Arizonans?
