Iowa Public Radio: Iowa Democratic Party Chair wants to empower county parties

Help us provide county parties with the tools and support they need!

Rita made it clear when she was first elected that county parties – and the folks who devote their time to running them – will be central to helping Iowa Democrats win again in the next election cycle and beyond.

Supporting our county parties means helping them build neighborhood and precinct teams in every county in the state, providing high-quality data and technology, and providing training so we are using the most effective tactics to turn out and persuade voters. We know the value of one-on-one conversations with voters and it's our county parties that will make those conversations happen.
