Kevin McCarthy is still holding our debt ceiling hostage — and if we don’t raise or suspend it by June 1, essential services that millions of Americans rely on like Social Security and food stamps will be shut down.

You don’t need me to tell you this move isn’t the big partisan win Republicans think this is, folks. By refusing to take action to raise the debt ceiling, Kevin McCarthy and his coalition of cruelty are playing chicken with Americans’ lives, and they just expect us not to notice.

They’re literally willing to risk a government shutdown — a catastrophic scenario — because they’d rather try to “pull one over” on Democrats than do what’s best for our country.

It’s pathetic, it’s dangerous, and it has to stop.

I’m already working with candidates and incumbents across the country to raise the money we need to boot these debased lunatics out of Congress in 2024 because enough is enough. Will you make a donation so we can catch up with Republicans’ fundraising, take back the House in 2024, and keep McCarthy and his cronies out of the halls of power for good?
