Summer is just around the corner and we're warming things up at NPH with several upcoming offerings, all from parties to trainings and more! 

All the details below:

Resident Services: Introduction to Trauma Informed Care, Friday, June 9, from 10-11:30AM PT, Zoom

This training is designed specifically for Resident Services staff, the people who work directly with a variety of people from different backgrounds and personal stories, many who have walked difficult paths in life. Together, we'll learn how trauma can potentially show up in the brains, bodies, and behaviors of others and ourselves. After the training, attendees will be able to:

✅ Define trauma and recognize its prevalence

✅ Recognize connections between the impact of trauma and high-risk behaviors

✅ Gain useful tips for working with individuals who have experienced trauma

✅ Use tools gained to support resilience and stay calm in a moment
