Friend,
Join us in celebrating the International Day for Biological Diversity with a virtual presentation from one of our Global Partners, Lemur Love!
Lemur Love is a non-profit organization devoted to safeguarding the remarkable lemurs of Madagascar. The organization's ongoing research presence aids in preserving Madagascar's biodiversity and helps foster meaningful connections with the communities living in and around biodiverse hotspots. We'll hear from Dr. Marni LaFleur, the Founder of Lemur Love, and Dr. Seheno Andriantsaralaza, the In-Country Director.
Through mesmerizing photographs and heartwarming success stories, you'll gain insight into the latest scientific research on Madagascar's ring-tailed lemurs. Discover how Lemur Love is assisting Malagasy scientists in enhancing their expertise and forging strong bonds with individuals living in and around lemur habitats. Drs. LaFleur and Seheno will also discuss lemurs' vital role in upholding the health and balance of ecosystems in Madagascar. Their presentation, Investing in the Long-Term: How Science and Interpersonal Relationships Can Save Biodiversity is on Wednesday, May 24th, at 12 pm ET/9 am PT. |
