joined hostile, fringe groups such as the BDS Movement, Jewish Voices for Peace, and IfNotNow in marking Nakba Day – a day that refers to the founding of Israel as a “catastrophe” and is used by Palestinians to spread dangerous lies about Israel.
In its statement, J Street defended Rashida Tlaib for organizing an

anti-Israel “Nakba” event event on Capitol Hill. After Speaker Kevin McCarthy cancelled the program, J Street-endorsee Bernie Sanders allowed Tlaib to use his committee room for her anti-Israel event.
