Just this week, Republicans in North Carolina pushed through cruel restrictions on abortion care access.

That’s why I’ve been appearing on local and national news outlets to discuss what this means and what comes next.

Here’s what I’ve said:

• That the majority of North Carolinians support women making their own medical decisions about their own bodies, not the government.
• That the GOP knows their legislation is deeply unpopular, which is why they rammed it through without amendments or public comment.
• That when the bill is enacted, it will do great harm to patients seeking care in our state.

But the worst could be yet to come, folks.

My extremist opponent WILL sign a total ban on abortion care if he’s elected governor. We cannot allow that to happen.
