Dear John,
I am committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to our community, and I am proud to share with you the work that I have accomplished lately.
- I was able to secure millions of dollars I reimbursements for the veterans who reside at Curtis Home, after hearing about funding delays hurting the facility. By reimbursing room and board, pharmacy needs, transportation, and more, we’ve helped make major strides in meeting the needs of our veterans.
- I have introduced the School Meals During School Closures Act, a bill that would allow states or school districts to continue to provide free and subsidized meals during disruptions like extreme weather events. As a teacher myself, I know firsthand that without reliable access to food, students suffer significant and long-lasting effects on their physical and mental health.
- This week, I introduced the Social Determinants for Moms Act to make key investments to wholistically address all the factors that impact our health and the health of our communities. This is a part of the so-called "Momnibus" act to save moms and address the disparities in maternal health.
I am proud of the work we have accomplished so far, but there is still much more to be done.
As a Frontline congressional candidate, the work I do has never mattered more. If you would like to support me in my efforts to build a better and stronger future for our communities, please consider rushing a donation to help my team and I continue making wins.
