According to FEC filing reports released last week, Jeff Van Drew raised almost $1.7 million in 2019 and ended the year with $1.08 million in the bank account. This means he’s raised a lot of money from Donald Trump supporters after turning his back on South Jersey and becoming Trump’s bestie.

After switching parties, Jeff Van Drew saw a surge in small-dollar donors going from almost $21,000 in Q3 to almost $145,000 in Q4. This surge game from Donald Trump’s promotion of Van Drew and his campaign. However, 95% of his donations came from out-of-state.

Jeff is trying to become the grassroots candidate in this race, but he is not.
