Republicans in North Carolina have implemented a 12-week abortion ban by overriding Democratic Governor Roy Cooper’s veto. North Carolina Republicans have rolled back progress and individual rights — stripping millions of their reproductive freedom.

Since the Dobbs decision, Republicans have been laser-focused on passing dangerous anti-abortion legislation at the state level. In North Carolina, Republicans recently gained the supermajority needed to override the Governor’s veto because a single state representative switched parties.

Decisions about gun safety, reproductive freedom, and so much more are increasingly being left up to states and it’s time we invest in our state-level elections. What do you think, friend? Will you take our survey about state-level races?
