The eighth presidential primary debate is tonight in New Hampshire. We’ll be watching to see which candidates take the opportunity to address gun violence directly.
Gun violence is one of the most pressing issues our nation faces. Nearly 700 people die from gun violence in the United States every week, and many of these deaths could be avoided if our country had safer gun laws.
We’re committed to supporting candidates who have a plan to combat gun violence. We deserve a president who will stand up to the NRA, pass safer gun laws and help protect our communities from unnecessary violence.

In 2018, we showed Congress that we want safer gun laws by voting in a historic gun safety majority to the House.
Now we need to elect more senators who will help pass gun safety laws, and a president who is committed to making our communities safer from gun violence.
Tonight, we’re watching to see which candidate is committed to joining us in that fight.
