Officer Scott Patrick Memorial 5K

On Saturday, June 3, we will gather to celebrate the life and service of Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick, with the 18th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk. Officer Patrick was killed in the line of duty in June 2014; and each year, the Officer Scott Patrick Memorial 5K is held in his memory, to support Special Olympics Minnesota and Northern Dakota County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.

Pollinator Awareness Month

It's Pollinator Awareness Month in Mendota Heights!

Throughout the month-long initiative, the City is providing educational resources and activities on how to support pollinators year-round and highlight the importance of pollinators and their role in the natural world.?

Tree Sale Success

On Saturday, May 13, residents who participated in the City?s annual tree sale picked up their trees and started planting!

This year, the City expanded its number of trees available to residents from 50 to 100 trees.

Thanks to all of you who helped make the annual tree sale a tree-mendous success!

Senior Golf Passes

Available for purchase beginning Monday, May 22, Senior Golf Passes are an opportunity for golfers ages 65 and up to save on greens fees at the Par 3 Community Golf Course for the 2023 season. Passes are $200; some restrictions apply. Stop by City Hall to purchase your pass today!

New City Staff: Willow Eisfeldt

Willow Eisfeldt is the City?s new Recreation Program Coordinator. She earned a bachelor?s degree in Recreation Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist licensed through the National Council on Therapeutic Recreation Certification.?

New City Staff: Courtney Selstad

Courtney Selstad is the new Recycling Coordinator for the
Cities of Mendota Heights, West St. Paul, South St. Paul,
Lilydale and Sunfish Lake. After earning a bachelor of arts in
international relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Courtney spent the first several years of her career working in public relations and nonprofit management in the Twin Cities and New York City.

Join Us for a Walk!

Friday, May 26; 9?10 a.m.

Join Parks and Recreation staff for a 2-3 mile walk at locations in Mendota Heights and surrounding areas. Participants can go at their own pace and do not need to finish the entire walk.

Participation is free; register online or by calling 651-255-1353. Starting location and route will be sent the Monday before the hike via email.

Valley View Heights Playground Replacement

Installation of the new playground equipment is nearly complete, and estimated to be ready for kids to play by Friday, May 26. Until then, the playground area of the park is closed; please refrain from playing on the equipment for safety reasons.
