Lauren Underwood For Congress

In case you missed it, Lauren was invited to CBS News’ Face the Nation to talk about her Momnibus Act and how we can advance it through Congress, end the Black maternal health crisis, confront disparities in health care outcomes and save moms' lives.

It’s so important that everyone understands the urgency behind this legislation. Check it out here >>>

This week, in honor of mothers everywhere, Lauren teamed up with fellow Co-founder and Co-chair of the Black Maternal Health Caucus, Rep. Alma Adams from North Carolina’s 12th District, and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker to introduce the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act of 2023.

This life-saving legislative package includes bills that will address this urgent issue by making the investments needed to solve our country’s maternal health crisis — and as Lauren shared this week, she believes the Momnibus Act can become law by the end of this year.

The Momnibus already has broad, bipartisan support in Congress, so the more attention we bring to this solution, the more likely it is that every bill in the Momnibus is passed.

John, please take a moment to view to Lauren’s discussion on Face the Nation and chip in to help us continue building momentum >>>
