The 2023 National Convention of the Young Democrats of America will occur from June 18th through June 21st in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the MGM Grand Hotel. The Convention Management Committee, the Programming Collective, and the Nevada Host Committee have been hard at work putting together what we hope will be an exciting, educational, and impactful Convention.
Below is key information if you want to attend the 2023 YDA Convention:
CONVENTION INFORMATION, INCLUDING REGISTRATION AND HOTEL BOOKING
The convention website is www.yda.vegas. Attendees can register and book hotel rooms on the official YDA Convention website. This site will continue to be updated with other relevant convention information, including information from the convention standing committees on the platform, rules, and credentials. So, be sure to check back occasionally.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Lodging for the Young Democrats of America National Convention is available at the MGM Grand Hotel until May 19th at an average nightly rate of $109 before taxes and fees. After May 19th, we can't guarantee room rates will not be over $100 a night more than what they are right now with our room block — book your room today.
REGISTRATION AND RATES
The early bird registration rate for the convention is just $50. This discounted rate will end at 11:59 PM EST on May 17th. The rate will then increase to $60 on May 19th. Register today so you do not miss out on our Early Bird Rate.
PAYING FOR AN ENTIRE DELEGATION
The ActBlue payment page should allow your chartered unit to pay for the registrations of all of your delegates (if that’s something you choose to do). Your delegates will still need to complete the registration form on their own. If you have questions about bulk registration, please let email [email protected].
RULES SUBMISSIONS
If you have a proposed amendment to YDA's Charter, Standing Rules, or Call to Convention to be considered at the 2023 YDA National Convention in Las Vegas, please complete this form. All proposed amendments are due by May 19, 2023, at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time.
PLATFORM AND RESOLUTIONS SUBMISSIONS
If you have a plank you want to see included in our platform or a resolution to be considered at the 2023 YDA National Convention in Las Vegas please fill out this form. All submissions are due by June 4, 2023, at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time.
HONORARY MEMBER NOMINATIONS
If you have a former Young Democrat that has aged out, please use this form to nominate them for Honorary Young Democrat (AKA Young Democrat for Life) status. All nominations will be considered at the 2023 YDA National Convention in Las Vegas. All nominations are due by June 12, 2023, at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time. Please note that this form must be filled out by a member of the National Committee per the YDA Charter.
