This month we launched our 2023 U.S. National Survey on the Mental Health of LGBTQ Young People ([link removed]) , sharing the need for all of us to stand up, support, and affirm LGBTQ young people in our communities. One way to support LGBTQ young people in your own community is through the encouragement, enjoyment, and sharing of hobbies.

This month, we partnered up with several friends of The Trevor Project to help share the positive impact that hobbies have on their lives. We hope to inspire young people to participate in the unique activities that bring them joy. Elle Deran (they/she) shares how they discovered a love of baking as a way to center themselves in the present and focus on positive actions for her mental health.
