Team,
Do you remember when “Infrastructure Week” was just a punchline in Washington? For all the talk of a bipartisan infrastructure deal when Donald Trump was President, his administration couldn’t get it done. Then we elected Joe Biden and a Democratic majority in the Senate, and what do you know? We got the job done.
So as Infrastructure Week comes to a close, I want to take a moment to remind folks about our once-in-a-generation infrastructure investment and its impact on the Commonwealth and our country.
After I led efforts to pass our historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we saw major job-creating investments in public transit and green infrastructure here in Virginia. We’ve expanded busy highways like the I-64, upgraded our airports, repaired dilapidated bridges, built new bike paths, removed lead service lines, and updated our water systems.
Our infrastructure law is the gift that keeps on giving – but we’re just getting started. If Democrats are going to keep delivering real results like this for the American people, we need to make sure we defend and expand our Democratic majority. Can you chip in $5 today to help me continue my work to create jobs and rebuild our infrastructure across the Commonwealth?
Together, we can make Virginia the first state with universal broadband, create a safer and more convenient passenger train network for our families, and make every school bus low or no-emissions.
We’re getting closer and closer to building a better Virginia and a better America.
If you want us to keep up the work of revitalizing our communities and building impactful projects across the Commonwealth, chip in today >>
I couldn’t be more excited about the work ahead.
Thank you,
Mark Warner
