How and where we get our news is constantly changing. With the
disappearance of local newsrooms, many communities have ended up in “news
deserts” — and been left particularly vulnerable to right-wing
disinformation that’s spread online.

At Courier, our newsrooms aim to fill in these gaps by serving free,
high-quality journalism that’s focused on the issues voters actually care
about and dismantles bad information.

A critical part of our success is our ability to stay one step ahead of
trends in news consumption. That’s what makes your input so important —
