Hi, it’s Anna Kaplan, candidate for Congress in New York’s 3rd district against known-liar George Santos.

By now, you’ve heard that Donald Trump was found guilty of sexual abuse by a jury of his peers. And while over a dozen women have credibly accused Trump of sexual misconduct, E. Jean Carroll’s case was the first claim to be tested in court.

This is welcome news. And I hope Ms. Carroll finds some solace and closure in the verdict.

As a New York State Senator, I helped pass the Adult Survivors Act -- a law that has allowed thousands of survivors of sexual assault to seek justice against their abusers, including Ms. Carroll.

Today, we can proudly say that justice has been served.

But we need to go further -- and that’s one reason I’m running for Congress against George Santos in 2024.
