Money in politics disgusts me. I genuinely despise our political campaign system, and I loathe asking for donations, especially 445 days out from an election. We need campaign finance reform.

The sad truth is, for me to compete against my corporate-backed opponent to my right, my campaign requires resources. Early contributions help me build the necessary infrastructure to energize my team, equip our volunteers, and ramp up our voter outreach.

Grassroots support means everything to me. My opponent may have a couple-hundred big money and dark money backers, but so far this year alone, we have 1,200 dedicated, loyal donors like you and counting, making candidates like me possible. 
 

I grew up in a rural working-class home. My mother raised six kids by herself. During hard times, my family relied on government assistance, but I was blessed with opportunities to thrive, opportunities I want to pass on to our grandchildren and the entire constituency of #MI01. Hardworking rural families are the heart of the Nation, and we deserve nothing less.

Our current representative isn't getting the job done. His atrocious voting record makes it more difficult for us to succeed, socially and economically.

We must replace him. We tried like hell in 2022, but a first-time candidate can rarely unseat an incumbent, so after two years on the campaign trail, I'm continuing the battle dauntless with a round two. MI01 hasn't had a repeat candidate in decades, and I'm honored to be the one to build momentum, because with you, it's possible.
