Nottingham City Council is proud to announce that Nottingham Castle will fully re-open to visitors on Monday 26 June. 

Brand new admission arrangements mean that an adult pays £12 once and can visit all year, while accompanied children aged 15 years and under go free with each paying adult (up to 3 children) - making it an affordable and family-friendly day out.

The new admission arrangement will include access to the grounds, Brewhouse Yard Cottages, Robin Hood Adventures, Rebellion Galleries and the castle museum, unlimited for the 12 month period.

Nottingham Castle

Ahead of its re-opening in June, Nottingham Castle will host Medieval Legends over the May bank holiday weekend, showcasing cave tours, a medieval encampment, have-a-go archery and a meet and greet with Robin Hood himself!

As well as medieval activities in the castle grounds, on site there will be food and drink options within the castle’s visitor centre and café, and the shop will have child-friendly archery sets for little ones inspired to take up a new hobby.

Ticket entry is just £1 per person per day.
