John, I’m appalled.
This morning, Marjorie Taylor Greene went on live television attacking me as “aggressive and intimidating” for calling out her reckless behavior. She even went as far as ridiculously equating being called a “white supremacist” to being called the n-word.
This isn’t just a dogwhistle, it's a bullhorn that far-right extremists use time and time again to characterize Black men as violent and threatening.
We’ve seen the impact of this kind of rhetoric throughout the entirety of our nation’s history. It’s why Emmett Till, George Floyd, and countless other Black men have been murdered in our streets in cold blood.
So let me be clear: Marjorie Taylor Greene knows exactly what she’s doing when she calls me a threat. It’s dangerous and unacceptable — and I refuse to stand for it.
It’s up to all of us to speak truth to power, John. Please: Will you split a $10 donation between my campaign and the Voter Protection Project today so I can keep fighting for racial justice in Congress and defend our democracy from MAGA extremists? »
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation between Jamaal Bowman and VPP will go through immediately:
Thank you so much for standing with me in this fight.
