Please read this report, and then consider what you can afford to invest in NumbersUSA's efforts to re-establish sanity in our immigration policies. And keep in mind that right now, generous donors will double your donation.

Progress Report on Fixing the Border

Lately, the NumbersUSA Team has had some great victories nationally, in Florida, and (hopefully soon) in Texas, to clean up the Border Crisis.

1)Passed H.R. 2 in the U.S. House of Representatives

Last week, the House passed the best border bill in America's history, H.R. 2. Included in this landmark bill:

a)Mandating E-Verify for every U.S. employer!

b)Fixing the dysfunctional, easily gamed asylum system that currently invites economic migrants to pass themselves off as people fleeing from persecution.

c)Banning catch-and-release!

This is the first time Congress has EVER passed a bill containing both E-Verify and significant border-security improvements and fixes! But next, we need to pass the bill through the Senate.

2)Passed Mandatory E-Verify for the state of Florida

As you know, E-Verify will only take effect nationally if the Senate passes it and the president signs it. That will take a while. In the meantime, we need to continue to put the squeeze on illegal immigration state by state by passing E-Verify bills that can take effect NOW!

This has just happened in Florida. Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill last week to require every private employer in his state with 25 employees or more to use E-Verify. This is a tremendous victory. If past experience holds true this time, illegal aliens will start avoiding Florida and instead head to states that haven't yet required E-Verify. Of all the states that have passed E-Verify, Florida is the most populous and has the most illegal aliens!

3)Working hard to pass mandatory E-Verify in Texas

We're pushing VERY HARD to get the Texas legislature to follow Florida's lead and make E-Verify mandatory. We have a well-organized team on the ground in Austin, Texas. E-Verify bills are working their way through both the Texas House and Senate. There IS resistance from the Cheap Labor Lobby. We are using everything we can to push the bills through. If we can get Texas to follow Florida's lead, two of the biggest and most successful states will finally be taking DOWN the welcome sign for illegal aliens wanting to work there.

YOUR SHARE

We're making progress but we're not even nearly done. We still must get H.R. 2 moving in the U.S. Senate. We still must get mandatory E-Verify across the finish line in Texas.

This is expensive work. We need your financial investment today to keep our offensive going.

What's your share?

We need 1,000 member activists to invest in NumbersUSA Action right now

Since generous donors have already agreed to match whatever we raise up to $200,000. That means that for every dollar you give, we'll get two.

If you give $25, we'll get $50.

Even if you were to give thousands of dollars, we'd get twice that much!

Please accept their challenge and make your gift right now!

You can donate three ways:

1) Give via our web page, using your credit card or Paypal.

2) Check -- see the instructions and a form to print out and send with your check.

3) Call (703) 816-8820 to arrange a wire transfer, stock donation, or to make a credit card donation over the phone. If our office is closed, please leave the time and your phone number and we will call back.

Keep the faith and don't ever give up!
