Power Resources, Inc., doing business as Cameco Resources, of Casper, Wyoming, has filed an application for amendment to their mining Permit No. 632 from the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the mining of uranium in Campbell County, Wyoming. The currently operating mine is located approximately 50 road miles southwest of Gillette, Wyoming and approximately 40 road miles northwest of Wright, Wyoming. Mine site access is via Wyoming Highway 50. The amendment application may be viewed at the Cheyenne or the Sheridan Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be re-advertised for public comment prior to approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
