George Santos is under investigation by the Justice Department on 13
charges, including embezzling funds from his campaign and unemployment
insurance fraud. Yet, Santos has said he will not resign.

Yesterday, Alexandria made clear what she thinks about that on the steps
of the Capitol: “Resign, bro!”

Santos attacked the courts and prosecutors investigating him, declaring it
a ‘witch hunt’ and an act of political persecution. All of this is cut
from the cloth of Donald Trump.

Attacking the truth, our institutions, and any semblance of accountability
is dangerous to democracy. We cannot normalize George Santos. He needs to
resign and, if he won’t, then the House must expel him. So far, GOP
Speaker Kevin McCarthy has said he won’t call on Santos to resign.

You can probably guess what Alexandria thinks about that.
