John, Kevin McCarthy is attacking Adam across the MAGA universe as he makes the rounds in the far-right media.
First, it was live on Fox News. Then he went on Fox Business to repeat the same bogus attacks — that Republicans may seek to expel Adam from Congress, after a Trump administration special prosecutor failed to prove any of Trump’s deep state conspiracy theories. Undaunted by the Fox network’s more than $750 million dollar penalty for lying, here is one Fox host:
“We’re also thinking about the corruption underway…you lived it…you know what went on in terms of the Durham probe and the Russia collusion lie…will there be accountability here?” — Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo
“There has to be…They took America through an impeachment over a lie that they knew. You had Adam Schiff, who was chair of the Intel Committee, lie day after day to the American public. Why is this individual still even in Congress, and why does he think he can even run for higher office after what he did?”
John, we have to be honest — this is the worst McCarthy’s attacks have been in MONTHS. First he removed Adam from the Intelligence Committee. And now one of his minions has introduced a resolution to expel Adam from the House itself. Their message: stand up to Trump and the extreme MAGA world and you will be expelled.
