Gun violence is a fatal and preventable epidemic that continues to plague cities across the U.S., as well as our home state of Washington. It is far past time the nation as a whole begins to recognize the need for a comprehensive and collaborative regional and state-wide approach to addressing gun violence through a public health lens. We believe that by coming together in this work, we can begin implementing lasting and lifesaving solutions across all of our communities.
