Yesterday’s hearing on the legality of mifepristone was a stark reminder of just how fragile our rights are in this country. 

Access to this most common form of abortion care can be stripped away by our legal system on any given day. And if it’s not by some right-wing judges, major pharmacies can control our access — as shown by Walgreens wavering on filling prescriptions for the drug in recent months. 

We should not have to fight so hard for our basic human rights — but since that’s the reality we live in in a post-Roe world, we’ve created the Rapid Response Mifepristone Fund. This is an emergency fund that will help us respond to whatever decision the courts hand down.
