I stand with the Asian-American and Jewish-American communities as they face violence and harassment in recent years.

Dear friend,

As we celebrate both Jewish-American and Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Months this May, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible diversity of our country, and the richness it brings to our society.

As both a Jewish person and a trans person, I know firsthand how important it is to fight for equality and justice for all communities.

Unfortunately, our Asian-American and Jewish neighbors have experienced disproportionate levels of violence and harassment in recent years.

We need to honor their history, acknowledge the struggles that they have faced and continue to face, and commit ourselves to fighting for a future where everyone can live without fear of violence or discrimination.

I'm running for Congress to be a champion for all communities and to fight for policies that promote equality and justice. By donating today, you’re supporting this fight.

In office I’ll address hate crimes and discrimination, promote diverse representation in our government, and invest in education and economic opportunities for all communities, regardless of zip code.

Los Angeles deserves representation who will shine bright in the face of injustice and hatred.

Thank you for your support, and happy AAPI and Jewish-American Heritage Month!

Sincerely,

Maebe
