It's why SEEC Clean Energy Deployment Task Force Co-Chairs Sean Casten and Mike Levin are working on their bill, the Clean Electricity and Transmission Acceleration Act of 2023, to promote and accelerate clean energy projects.

But that’s the opposite of what Speaker McCarthy wants. Instead, he wants to gut IRA’s clean energy initiatives and open up our public lands to more oil and gas projects.
