I'll make this quick, John: In 30 seconds, I'm going to ask you to donate $5 to my campaign.

Here’s why: This race may be one of the most expensive Senate primaries in our nation's history, and I was outraised last quarter by the two other candidates in this race, who brought in over $11 million combined. So I need to make up ground – quickly .

I know $5 doesn't sound like much, but that's how this powerful grassroots team helped raise over a million dollars in just over a month. When hundreds of people like you join our team with even just $5, we can build a powerful movement that will send me to the Senate.

But first, I need to make sure we aren't outraised again. That's why I set an ambitious goal to raise another $50,000 before midnight TONIGHT. We’re currently falling $9,500 short, but I know that we can close this gap if everyone reading this email gives what they can.
