Last week, I stood shoulder to shoulder with more than a dozen of my Senate Republican colleagues to call out Joe Biden and the Democrats.
They’ve steadfastly refused to negotiate with the House GOP on raising debt ceiling – and now, our nation is on the brink of default come June 1.
He’s refused to come to the table because he no longer has the mental faculties for these types of talks. His staffers in the White House are little Marxists with no experience in the real world. We all know the debt ceiling status quo is broken, but the last thing they want to do is engage in structural budget reform and spending cuts that would get us off of this runaway train.
Our nation is approaching $32 TRILLION in debt with no end to this fiscal insanity in sight – our national debt was less than $7 trillion just 20 years ago!

Joe Biden, as Vice President, led talks with Republicans back in 2011 to avert a near-default. Today, we have a Joe Biden in steep decline, incapable of working toward a solution. What we’re left with is a bunch of young staffers who are willing to risk a default because they have no appreciation of the chaos and damage it will cause.
